I had a very fun and amazing experience at USD's Winter Prospect Camp. The two days were filled with tons of baseball and chances to showcase my skills. The games allowed me to show my potential on the mound and with the bat. In addition, the games were also well organized and put together so each player got an equal opportunity to play in front of the coaches and staff at USD. The coach pitch scrimmages between the games allowed me to get many reps with swings, flyballs, and ground balls in game situations. The 60 yard dash also allowed me to present my speed, in batting practice I was also able to exhibit my mechanics and swing to the USD coaches as well.

I enjoyed getting to know Coach Keegan as we were able to relate coming from Washington. He is someone that made the camp experience positive. If you have any feedback that you can share with me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I just wanted to let you know I really enjoyed my experience this past weekend down at the infield camp. I loved the spin you put on things and especially the fact that you like to see your shortstop throw sidearm when he's the "sure-man"!! Anyways, I look forward to seeing the team play this year!

My favorite drills were the "come and get it" drill, the paddle (A-Rod) drill, and the backhand work that we did. Our Fall Prospect Camp allows prospective student athletes to work in an intimate setting with our very own coaching staff. Campers will experience a day in the life as a USD Baseball player.
